Rashmika Mandanna's bridal henna featured Om and Parvati, reveals mehendi artist
Rashmika Mandanna’s bridal mehendi carried a quiet but deeply personal message. The actor’s mehendi artist, Sona Suthar, revealed that Rashmika planned the design about a month before her wedding ceremony with Vijay Deverakonda. The final look stayed minimal, but every detail had meaning. It included Om, Parvati, “Shiva” in Kannada, “Shakti” in Telugu, and several traditional motifs that reflected her South Indian roots, spiritual beliefs, and cultural identity.
The artist then explained the meaning behind the symbols placed on Rashmika’s hands. “On the front of her hands, we incorporated the symbol of Parvati on one hand, representing prosperity and divine blessings, and the Om symbol on the other, representing the sacred union of Shiv and Shakti — the balance of Parvati and Shiva.” She added, “To make it even more personal, we included ‘Shiva’ written in Kannada and ‘Shakti’ written in Telugu, beautifully honoring her cultural and linguistic heritage.”
She also praised Rashmika’s presence during the session. “Rashmika is truly a gem of a person — calm, humble, and incredibly warm,” she wrote, adding that the actor was “very attentive, open to suggestions, and deeply involved in the creative process.” Suthar ended by saying Rashmika stayed “cheerful, bubbly, and full of joy, even dancing and enjoying every moment.”
The mehendi ceremony also featured traditional outfits designed by Delhi-based designer Karan Torani.
Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda got married on February 26, 2026, in Udaipur. Their engagement was a private ceremony held in Hyderabad on October 3, 2025.
