Though Indian actresses becoming a producer is not new in Indian cinema. It was very less seen or heard in Telugu cinema, however, Malayalam actress Aishwarya Lekshmi who has acted in several south films and is making her Telugu acting debut with ‘Godse’ turned a producer for Sai Pallavi’s upcoming film titled ‘Gargi’ and the first look of the film has been launched yesterday. Lakshmi Manchu
After acting in American TV series such as ‘Las Vegas’, ‘Desperate Housewives, and 'Boston Legal’, She made an Indian Telugu film acting debut with ‘Anaganaga O Dheerudu’, ‘Dongala Mutha, and ‘Uu Kodathara? Ulikki Padathara?’ and several others.
She has turned producer for several of her brother Manchu Manoj’s movies such as ‘Nenu Meeku Telusa’?, ‘Gundello Godari’, ‘Dongaata’ and several others.

Praveena Parchuri
Praveena is an Indian American cardiologist, who made the critically acclaimed ‘C/O Kanchara Palem’ and was also an actress who did a full-length role in the above film. The film was later both a commercial as well as a critically acclaimed success that premiered at the New York Indian Film Festival in May 2018.

Taapsee Pannu
Taapsee Pannu who made her acting debut with the 2010 Telugu film ‘Jhummandi Naadam’ has recently announced a production house under her name, ‘Outsider Films’ and she joined Pranjal Khandhdiya a content producer to make a content-rich concept based movies in Hindi soon.

Charmy Kaur
Charmy Kaur who made her film acting debut with the 2002 Telugu movie ‘Nee Thodu Kavali’ has now turned producer after two years and She has Co-produced several Telugu films to her name.
She was last seen in the 2015 Telugu film ‘Mantra' on-screen, posting that she has become busy making films with her business partner Puri Jagannadh. Currently, she has Vijay Deverekonda’s ‘Liger’ and ‘JGM’.

Kalyani
Kalyani aka Kaveri is a Telugu actress who married ‘Satyam’ director Surya Kiran and got separated later. She has turned producer for the 2008 Telugu film ‘Chapter 6’ in which she played the lead role and again she turned producer for her upcoming Malayalam and Telugu films.

Niharika Konidela
Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi's niece, who made her acting debut as a lead actress in various films and web series, has now turned into a producer for an out of the box web content produced under the banner ‘Pink Elephant pictures’. She has also turned into a producer for several other TV contents.
While Chiranjeevi's daughter Sushmita Konidela too has turned into a producer for an upcoming movie ‘Sridevi Shoban Babu’.
