​Take Off

The 2017 Malayalam drama 'Take Off,' directed by debut director Mahesh Narayan, featured Parvathy Thiruvothu, Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, and Divya Prabha in significant roles. It is about a group of Malayali nurses who were kidnapped during the terrorist attack on the Iraqi city of Tikrit. The movie is thrilling and based on a true event.

​Manjummel Boys


Directed by Chidambaram S. Poduval, 'Manjummel Boys' is a recently released Malayalam survival thriller. It is based on the true story that happened in Guna Cave of Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu. A group of friends dealt with a tragic incident inside the cave. One among them, Subhash, fell into a pit inside the cave. In real life, Siju saved Subhash’s life from the pit. Soubin Shahir played the role of Siju David, and Sreenath Bhasi played Subhash.

​Visaranai


The 2016 Tamil crime drama 'Visaranai' is based on a novel, 'Lock Up,' by M. Chandrakumar. It is about an auto driver from Coimbatore who was picked up by the police along with other laborers in the area out of the blue. Directed by Vetrimaaran, the movie features Dinesh, Anandhi, Samuthirakani, Aadukalam Murugadoss, Kishore, Pradheesh Raj, and Silambarasan Rathnasamy in main roles.

​Aval


This is a horror trilingual film based on a real story released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages. 'Aval' in Tamil and 'The House Next Door' in Hindi is directed by Milind Rau. It features Siddharth and Andrea Jeremiah in lead roles. It was dubbed in Telugu as 'Gruham.'

​George Reddy


'George Reddy' is a 2019 Telugu biopic film directed by B. Jeevan Reddy and starring Sandeep Madhav, debutante Muskaan Khubchandani in pivotal roles. It is based on the life of a student leader, boxer, and gold medalist.
