heart surgeries
of kids hailing from poor economic backgrounds. Joining hands with Andhra Hospitals and Healing Little Hearts (HLH) in 2019, the 45-year-old actor has co-sponsored surgeries for 1000 children of different ages suffering from a wide spectrum of heart ailments. These procedures were performed by several teams consisting of specialist doctors and paramedics from all over the world on a voluntary basis over three and a half years.
In another act of generosity, Mahesh Babu has provided funds for the heart surgery of Ankith Bhargav, an infant who has been suffering from VSD & PDA defects. Sharing the same on Instagram,
Namrata Shirodkar wrote “Yet another heartwarming story of recovery ❤️❤️❤️ Happy to know that Ankith Bhargav who underwent surgery for VSD & PDA has been discharged and is doing well. Wishing good health to the child always! Big thanks to the healthcare experts of @andhrahospitals. ����”
Talking about
philanthropic
activities, Mahesh has also adopted two villages in 2016 namely, Burripalem in Andhra Pradesh and Siddhapuram in Telangana. The fate of these rural places changed in no time with development works over the past few years.
