Lavanya bags Rajamouli's Bahubali?
Lavanya Tripathi of Andala Rakshasi fame made all the right noises with her much-talked about debut, but those who were wondering where the pretty girl has disappeared ever since, here's news. Right on the heels of
recent reports that the actress has been roped in for a movie opposite Manchu Manoj a few days ago, we hear that Lavanya will also be seen in the the upcoming Rajamouli movie that stars Prabhas and Rana Daggubati.
While Anushka is playing the female lead in the much-hyped period project, Lavanya will be the second lead. A source close to Rajamouli, says, 'After an extensive search for the second female lead, the director decided to zero in on Lavanya' Interestingly, Andala Rakshasi marks Rajamouli's debut as a producer and it is during the shooting of this film that the director was impressed with her performance.
'Lavanya has completed her audition and look test for the movie just a few days ago and the director is happy with the results,' the source adds. Lavanya has apparently been instructed by Rajamouli to lie low until a formal announcement is made. The movie, to be directed by Veeru Potla, is apparently being made with a budget of around `70 crores, the costliest ever for a Tollywood movie.
