Lakshmi Manchu celebrates Sankranti with kids

Popular Tollywood actress and TV host Lakshmi Manchu celebrated Sankranti festival in a unique manner. She hosted a lunch for 50 children, who hail from 38 different government schools in Hyderabad. All these schools had collaborated with an NGO, in which Lakshmi Manchu is the Managing Director.
Several volunteers also were with the actress to attend the fest, which was organised at Lakshmi Manchu's house in Film Nagar.Lakshmi had hosted such events for students from unprivileged backgrounds in the past also. But this time, she invited everyone to her home to celebrate it in a traditional way.
"I feel very happy when I spent time with such talented children. Beyond all this, I hope we can also teach our next generation to treat everyone equally, irrespective of their economic background. That is one of my main motives to organise such events and hopefully, it will also change the mindset of the people," said Lakshmi.
