An epic action film by SS Rajamouli starring Anushka Shetty, Prabhas, and Rana Dggubati in lead roles It has two parts: Baahubali, the beginning, and Baahubali, the conclusion. It became the third-highest-grossing Telugu film worldwide, with a box office gross ranging between 600 and 650 crore, making it the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2015 and the second-highest-grossing Indian film globally.

Pushpa: The Rise

Pushpa: The Rise is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language action film written and directed by Sukumar. This movie stars Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, a coolie who becomes a red sandalwood smuggler. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Dhananjay, Sunil, Prakash Raj, and Ajay Ghoda in supporting roles. The film was released in two parts, with the first part, titled Pushpa: The Rise, released on December 17, 2021, and the second part, titled Pushpa: The Rule, scheduled to be released on December 16, 2023. The film has grossed over Rs. 1100 crore worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.

RRR

It is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language epic action film written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli. It stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, and Shriya Saran. The film is set in 1920s colonial India and tells the fictional story of two Indian freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Rama Rao Jr.) and Saran. The supporting cast is also top-notch, with Morris, Doody, Stevenson, and Saran all giving memorable performances. It won an Oscar for music and the 69th National Award for action-visual treatment.

RRR was a massive commercial success, grossing over ₹1,316 crore (US$160 million) worldwide. It became the third-highest-grossing Indian film of all time, the second-highest-grossing Telugu film of all time, and the highest-grossing Indian film of 2022.

KGF

Kannada-language action film directed by Prashanth Neel The film stars Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Anant Nag, Vasishta N. Simha, Malavika Avinash, Prakash Raj, and Raveena Tandon. The film is set in the 1970s and tells the story of Rocky, a young man who rises from poverty to become the king of the Kolar Gold Fields. The film was released in two parts, with the first part, KGF: Chapter 1, released on December 21, 2018. The film was a huge commercial success, grossing over ₹800 crore worldwide. The second part, KGF: Chapter 2, was released on April 14, 2022. The film also broke several box office records, becoming the highest-grossing Kannada film of all time.

Sita Ramam

It is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film written and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. It stars Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, Sumanth, Tharun Bhascker, Sachin Khedekar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Shatru, Vennela Kishore, Bhumika Chawla, Rukmini Vijayakumar, and Murali Sharma. Sita Ramam was released on June 17, 2022. The film received positive reviews from critics, who praised the performances of the cast, the direction, and the music. The film was also a commercial success, grossing over ₹50 crore worldwide.

The movie ‘Major’ is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language action drama film directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka. The film stars Adivi Sesh, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Sobhita Dhulipala. It is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the NSG commando who was killed in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. The film has grossed over ₹100 crores (US$13 million) worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2022. It has been praised for its realistic depiction of the 2008 Mumbai attacks and for Adivi Sesh's performance as Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.
