Baahubali and RRR writer Vijayendra Prasad about Tollywood Directors

Most of us know that this blockbuster screenwriter who worked across the industries has given several blockbusters in Indian cinema. He also has won the 'Best Story award' for his ‘2016 film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan,’ besides several other awards.

In a recent interview with the Telugu news channels, he has shared some of his observations on the Tollywood filmmakers especially Tollywood Directors, let’s check what he had to say about them.

Vijayendra Prasad is reported to have said, Puri Jagannath is his favorite director. He makes films very quickly among all the Tollywood Star directors. He also says, Puri composes fight scenes very well in his movies. He can give a lead to a fight with just a short scene/dialogue.

At a time when the audience feels “it would be nice if the hero hits the villain” exactly the same time fight takes off on screen. Which he likes very well in Puri’s movies.

Vijayendra Prasad is reported to have opined 'Rajamouli and Sukumar are the same in terms of their working style'. Like Rajamouli, Sukumar too makes films at a slow pace and both have the same passion and presentation style for good cinema.

Prasad is also reported to have said, Trivikram is one of his favorite directors in Tollywood and he enjoys his humor a lot from his movies.

Talking about his Son 'SS.Rajamouli', KVV has reportedly said, Rajamouli does not have the skill to write a story. However, he said in the past that he is bold enough to choose a good story and presenting it wonderfully. He also said that he is tired of telling his son so many times to make films faster.

Coming to him who has directed 4 films, it paid off for him to counteract himself by telling of his failure as a director. As he tried on a couple of films and that didn’t work for him.
