Akkinenis throw a simple wedding reception for the film fraternity

More than a month after the fairy tale wedding at Goa, the Akkineni family hosted a simple yet superb wedding reception for Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni in Hyderabad on Sunday. The reception was attended by the biggest names from the film fraternity.

While Samantha turned heads in a lavender sequinned evening gown, Naga Chaintanya looked dapper in midnight blue suit. It was hard to take eyes off the couple who complemented each other in every way.

Among the prominent celebs who attended the reception were Megastar Chiranjeevi and his family, including Ram Charan, Allu Arjun and Varun Tej. Ace filmmaker

who directed Samantha’s blockbuster ‘Eega’ and veteran actors Krishna, UV Krishnam Raju and Nandamuri Harikrishna were spotted blessing the newlyweds. Director Atlee, who worked with Sam in ‘Their’ and ‘Mersal’, was spotted at the do blessing the couple with his wife, Priya. The Daggubatis, who had thrown a grand party for the newly-weds last month, were also present.
