A lot of media channels and social media handles had posted this news, indicating that Prabhas provided this assistance through his representatives. The kind act of the actor was praised all over the internet, and people applauded him for what he did for a fellow actor in distress. Even Fish Venkat's family initially thought that this proposal was genuine and were relieved thinking that monetary help had arrived from such a big celebrity.

Fish Venkat's family confirms the News is false

However, the truth came out when Fish Venkat’s family did a proper check. In a recent interview, the family revealed that the news about Prabhas donating ₹50 lakh was false. They clarified that someone had called them pretending to be from Prabhas’s team. The person on the phone call introduced himself as Prabhas’ assistant and told them that ₹50 lakh would be given for the kidney treatment and at that time the family of Fish Venkat, was emotionally vulnerable and they believed the call to be genuine.
But later, they found out it was a fake call, and there was no such offer from Prabhas or his official team.The family of the victim informed in an interview with Suman TV that they never received any financial support from Prabhas or from anyone else on his side. They informed that they were responding to all such calls amid that stressful situation, waiting for someone to come forward and help them sincerely. They learned later that the assurance of ₹50 lakh was totally false. The family also said that they never intended to mislead anyone and were simply narrating what they had been informed on the call.

Other celebrities extend financial support to Fish Venkat

Even though the Prabhas donation turned out to be false, other celebrities did come forward to help Fish Venkat. Actor Vishwak Sen donated ₹2 lakh to support his treatment. Apart from him, popular actor and politician Pawan Kalyan also extended financial help earlier. These contributions were confirmed and appreciated by the family. The public and fans have acknowledged the genuine support given by these stars.
