Five Telugu films you’re most excited to watch them in theatres

There are plenty of exciting movies on tap for this weekend. To help you keep up to date with all the new releases, we’ve put together this release segment that we’ll constantly be updating as makers announce release dates of their respective films. Hopefully, you’ll find this to be a helpful tool to watch what movies releasing this week. So’, let’s take a look at the five Telugu films you’re most excited to watch them in theatres.

O Pitta Katha

O Pitta Katha, starring Viswant Duddumpudi, Nitya Shetty and Sanjay Rao has been directed by Chandu Muddu and produced by Anand Prasad V under the banner of Bhavya Creations. Praveen Lakkaraju will be composing music for this flick while N Sunil Kumar has handled the camera. D Venkata Prabhu is in charge of editing. Brahmaji is also part of the cast. Tipped to be a romantic family entertainer, O Pitta Katha will hit the screens on March 6.

Palasa 1978

Directed by Karuna Kumar, Palasa 1978 is said to be based on the real incidents that took place in the area of Palasa. It will depict the caste discrimination and class conflicts of the time. Produced by Dhayan Atluri under Sudha Media in association with Media9 Celebrity and Management Pvt Ltd, the film will be released worldwide on March 6. Palasa 1978 stars Rakshit, Nakshatra, Raghu Kunche, Vijay Ram, Thiruveer, Laxman Meesala, Prawin Yendamuri, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Mirchi Madhavi, Thanmai Bolt and Shanmuk.

Anukunnadi Okkati Ayyindi Okkati

Directed by debutant Baalu Adusumilli, Anukunnadi Okkati Ayyindi Okkati revolves around the life of four metropolitan girls who are very close to each other from childhood. Dhanya Balakrishna, Siddhi Idnani, Tridha Choudhury and Komalee Prasad play best buddies in the film. Hima Velagapudi has produced the movie under the banner B & W Pictures in association with Poorvi Productions. Touted to be a romantic crime-drama, Anukunnadi Okkati Ayyindi Okkati is scheduled to hit the screens on March 6.

Krishna Manohar IPS

For the first time in her career, Prabhu Deva will be seen essaying a cop in Krishna Manohar IPS. The film marks Prabhu Deva’s 50th film as an actor. The film also stars Nivetha Pethuraj, J Mahendran and Suresh Menon in pivotal roles. Krishna Manohar IPS, directed by AC Mugil Chellappan, is produced by Nemichand Jhabak and Hitesh Jhabak under Jhabak Movies banner. The film, which has music by D Imman is set to release on March 6. KG Venkatesh has cranked the camera while T Shivanandeeswaran will edit it.

College Kumar

Actor Rahul Vijay and director Hari Santhosh have teamed up for a film titled College Kumar. The film is now set to hit the screens on March 6. As the trailer suggests, the film is touted to be an out-and-out romantic comedy entertainer. There are also reports that Vijay will be seen playing a collegegoer who drops off from college to help his father to become a graduate. Madhubala Ragunath plays Rahul’s mother while Rajendra Prasad essays his father. Priya Vadlamani of Husharu fame is the leading lady. L Padmanabha has bankrolled the film under Lakshmana Gowda in collaboration with MR Pictures.
