Sekhar Kammula penned 'Fidaa' keeping Pawan Kalyan in mind but guess which star was considered for the lead role?

’ with a larger-than-life Pawan Kalyan or Prince Mahesh instead of chocolate boy Varun Tej is unimaginable.

But imagine away, because filmmaker Sekhar Kammula recently revealed that he penned the script of his hit film ‘Fidaa’ keeping the Powerstar in mind! He said, “I penned the script considering Pawan Kalyan in mind, but I never narrated it to him.”

During the interaction, the filmmaker dropped another bomb and even mentioned that he narrated the script to Mahesh Babu. Talking about it, Sekhar Kammula said, “I met Mahesh Babu a couple of times, but did not discuss the entire script.” Wonder what happened there.

And of course, as we all know now, Dil Raju ended up bankrolling a movie starring Varun Tej and not Pawan Kalyan. In fact, it was Dil Raju who suggested that Varun Tej would be perfect for the role.

Despite having the script and cast ready, Sekhar Kammula waited for Sai Pallavi to finish her studies before she shot for the film. Special workshops were conducted and Sekhar set out with packed schedules and a bound script.

‘Fidaa’ is currently running a packed house into its third week.
