#RIPMSV: Celebs mourn the demise of MS Viswanathan

Southern music legend MS Vishwanathan, who had been critically ill for the past few days bid farewell to the world on July 14, 2015. The melody genius had been admitted to the hospital on June 27, 2015, after he complained of difficulty in breathing. However, despite all efforts to improve his health condition, it worsened as the days passed. The legend passed away at 4:15 am on July 2015, as reported by a hospital source. MS Vishwanathan’s demise has shaken the Tamil fraternity.

Rajnikanth:
Superstar Rajnikanth mourned the demise of legendary music compose MS vishwanathan. In a report on IANS, the superstar was quoted saying that Vishwanathan was behind the success of MGR and Sivaji. Rajnikanth, who himself worked in a movie with Vishwanathan as the music composer, grieved the loss of such a phenomenal composer. The Enthiraan actor also said that if not for MSV, the careers of filmmaker Balachander, lyricist Vaali and Kannadasan wouldn't have reached success, reported IANS. Like several celebrities of Kollywood, even he paid homage to late MS Vishwanathan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi grieved the death of veteran music composer MS Vishwanathan. He was quoted by IANS as saying, "The unfortunate demise of MS Viswanathan is a major loss to music lovers. People across generations enjoyed his compositions. When it came to music, MS Viswanathan was always ahead of his time. Condolences to his family and his several admirers."

Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha:
Pained by the demise of music legend MS Vishwanathan, Jayalalitha said that the late music composer should have been honoured with a Padma Bhushan Award for his exceptional contribution to the music industry. In a statement given to IANS, the Tamil Nadu CM said that the melody maestro who was awarded with several accolades wasn't honoured with a Padma Bhushan. She also said that from the time she took the CM's chair, she constantly recommended Vishwanathan's name for the Padma Bhsuhan but the central government did not lend an ear to it, reported IANS.
