When stars lost their cool in public!

Recently, actor-director Parthiban's shocking action of throwing the mic in anger at the audio launch of Iravin Nizhal became viral. The actor has now come out with a video explaining the reason behind his anger (extreme stress and the fact that the mic wasn't working right at the time when he was about to have a conversation on the stage with AR Rahman) and apologised for his behaviour. Here are a few of our stars who have lost their cool in public...

Ajith snatches phone from fan

Ajith is one actor who prefers to stand in line among the public on voting day. During the voting for the 2021 state elections, a fan, tried to take a selfie with the star, who got angered by the fact the person was neither wearing a mask nor following social distancing norms during the pandemic, and snatched his phone. Later, the actor gave back the phone and apologised to the fan.

Sivakumar knocks down fan's phone

Yet another 'selfie moment'! In 2018, Sivakumar was enraged by a fan intruding into his private space to take a selfie and knocked down his phone. The veteran actor later came out with a video, apologising for his behaviour, and also gifted a new phone for the youngster.

Vijayakant's 'Thooki adichuduven paathuko'

Vijayakant is one actor who doesn't hide his emotions. The senior actor has lost his cool in public a couple of times, but the one incident that most people remember is a press conference in Delhi. Peeved with the line of questioning by a private TV channel, Captain got furious and shouted at them the now-cult catchphrase: 'Thooki adichuduven paathuko'!

Vijay screams silence!

While promoting his film Villu, Vijay was responding to reporters when he was angered by a disturbance in the crowd. Losing his cool, Thalapathy shouted 'Silence', and was visibly very upset. After taking a few seconds to regain his composure, the actor resumed his answer.

Suriya gets angry with unruly fans

While promoting the Telugu version of his Thaana Serndha Koottam, Suriya got upset with unruly fans on the road who were following his vehicle, putting everyone's lives in danger. The star got down from his car, had an altercation with the fans and berated them for such behaviour.

Rajinikanth loses cool, walks away

In 2018, speaking to the media after visiting the victims of the police shootout in Tuticorin, Rajinikanth got peeved by the insistent questioning of reporters, who quizzed him about his pro-police stand, and raised his voice in anger and finally walked away from the press meet.

During his election campaign, miffed with his team for his mic not working, Kamal Haasan threw down the torch light - his party's symbol - in frustration, surprising onlookers.
