Vishal-Arya’s film with Anand Shankar to go on floors from next month?

It’s known that buddies Vishal and Arya are turning foes for a film directed by Anand Shankar. We now have it that the film, said to be an action thriller, is all set to go on floors in October.

A source in the know says, “Reports of Anand Shankar, who has helmed Arima Nambi,

Iru Mugan

and NOTA previously, roping in Vishal and Arya for a film had made rounds in December last year. The movie was expected to start rolling early this year, but the coronavirus pandemic played spoilsport. Now, with the government granting permission for films to be shot with a 75-member team, they are ready to go on floors from next month. An official announcement on the same, along with details on the cast and crew, will be made soon.”

Interestingly, Vishal and Arya had worked together in Bala’s Avan-Ivan. Vishal had even done a guest appearance in Arya’s Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga.

While Arya is busy with

Teddy

and Pa Ranjith’s boxing film, among others, Vishal will be completing about four days of shooting work for his

Chakra

this month. He will also start work on

Thupparivalan 2

, which he will be directing. “Arya has resumed work on

Pa Ranjith

's film already. Vishal will first complete his film with Anand Shankar before going for a recce for Thupparivalan 2. Scripting for the detective thriller is done, and the film is being planned as a summer release,” the source adds.
