'Varisu' to 'Villu': Title of Vijay's films that started with V

Actor Vijay is celebrating his 48th birthday today. He has acted in about 65 films in Tamil and is now shooting for his next bilingual film with Vamshi Paidipally. The title of the film was revealed on June 21 and it is named ‘Varisu’. It was tentatively called ‘Thalapathy 66’ and on Vijay’s birthday eve, the movie makers revealed the title of the film. The movie has Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead role.

Now with ‘Varisu’s first look poster launched, the movie makers are releasing the second and third look from the film on June 22, Vijay’s birthday.

Here are a few films of Vijay that had the title starting with the letter ‘V’. The previous movies of Vijay that had the title in ‘V’ were not a big success to the actor; there might be a chance that ‘Varisu’ can change that streak.
