Vijay Sethupathi, who earlier missed being part of 'Vada Chennai', feels worried about missing the Vetrimaaran directorial, and he hasn't watched the film yet since he might feel more after watching it. He then revealed about 'Vada Chennai 2' and confirmed that Vetrimaaran is working on the film's script.

Ilaiyaraaja, the composer of 'Viduthalai', assured fans that the plot of the film will be a new one for Tamil cinema. He then called Vetrimaaran one of the most important directors of Kollywood, and he has been saying it after scoring music for 1500 films as he worked with over 1000 directors. Ilaiyaraaja also assured fans that his music in the film will be unique. Ilaiyaraaja turned angry in the mid as fans cheered continuously when he tried to sing a line from the film's song.

Kalaipuli Thanu has signed Vetrimaaran for his production venture 'Vaadivaasal' starring Suriya in the lead role. The popular producer explained the quality of Vetrimaaran while speaking at the event as several leading heroes like Ramcharan and Jr.NTR also desire to work with the director. Thanu then confirmed that 'Vaadivaasal' will resume and he is waiting for Vetri Maaran to take off the project.

An old woman visited the shooting spot to meet Soori regularly, but she was unable to meet the actor for long days as she arrived when he was not at the set. Soori then visited her house to take blessings from her. Soori then came to know that she had mistaken him for actor Suriya, he later explained the fact to her and left her house by taking her blessings.

Vetrimaaran feels happy to work with Ilaiyaaraja in 'Viduthalai' and the veteran composer has absorbed his mind to convert into music for the film. He shared a great time with the composer and expressed his thanks to the composer. Vetrimaaran listed out names of every techinicians who worked for the film, and thanked everyone for making his dream true. Vetrimaaran then confirmed he will start filming for 'Vaadivaasal' with Suriya after the release of 'Viduthalai' in two parts. He is also working on the script work of 'Vada Chennai 2' and assured that the sequel will happen for sure after 'Vaadivaasal'.
