Thiru calls Ajith and Devayani's Kadhal Kottai a film that changed the grammar of screenplay

Director Thiru remembered

Kadhal Kottai

(1996) as the film completed 24 years since its release. He said that the film had changed the grammar of screenplay. Thiru also shared the lines from the chartbuster ‘Nalam Nalam Ariya Aaval’. Kadhal Kottai had Ajith, Devayani,

Heera

and Karan as part of the star cast. The film was directed by Agathiyan and had music by Deva. Cinematography was by Thangar Bachan. The film was a blockbuster and was eventually remade in Telugu as Prema Lekha and in Hindi as Sirf Tum.

Thiru also remembered ace lyricist Na Muthu Kumar and said that some people can never be forgotten.
