Sudeep's character in KSR's film will have two shades

Sudeep's Tamil-Kannada bilingual with KS Ravikumar has been titled Mudinja Ivana Pudi. The teaser of the film was released recently. While the team has been tight-lipped about the film's progress, there have been rumours doing the rounds that Sudeep will be seen in a double role. However, the producer Soorappa Babu spoke to us and denied the news.
'Sudeep is not doing a double role.However, his character will have two shades. This will be a completely new avatar for him after his villain roles in Naan Ee and Puli,' says Babu, hinting that his role could be a combination of good and evil. He adds that the film will be a pucca action entertainer in typical KS Ravikumar style.
Nithya Menen plays the female lead in the film and Babu calls her character 'very bubbly'. 'Kannada actor Ravi Shankar, who was recently seen in Indru Netru Naalai, has been confirmed to play an important character. We are also in talks with Prakash Raj and Sharath Lohitashwa (of Pandiya Nadu fame). We will finalize within a week,' he informs. D Imman is composing music for the film.
The team recently wrapped up the first schedule of the shoot in Bangalore. 'We will commence the second schedule in Chennai. We will be shooting next in Chennai, Hyderabad and Mysore, and are planning to shoot the songs abroad.'
