Silambarasan to play the lead in 'Corona Kumar'

Director Gokul had already announced his next film 'Corona Kumar' in the year 2020, however the makers haven't enclosed the lead role. Now as per the latest report Silambarasan TR has been roped in to play the lead in the film. While Silambarasan will be the main focus in the film, Vijay Sethupathi is also reportedly set to make a special appearance as Summar Moonji Kumar as a continuation from his previous film 'Idharkkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara'. Simbu will start shooting for the film soon, and the film is planned to be wrapped up in a quick time. But the official announcement regarding the film is awaited, and fans are eager to hear it.
Silambarasan has recently completed the shooting for the political thriller 'Maanadu', which is directed by Venkat Prabhu, and the post-production work has been on roll parallelly. The film is reported to be an entertaining drama with a strong social message, and the film is expected to hit the big screens this August.
