Sequel of Kamal Haasan's 'Panchathantiram' on the cards?

'Panchathantiram' was one of the biggest hits of Kamal Haasan's career and is considered one of the best slapstick comedy films in Tamil cinema. Well, it looks like there could be a sequel to this cult film.
Director KS Ravikumar, who directed 'Panchathantiram' back in 2002, has hinted at a possible sequel. The director let slip this information during the pre-release meet of Sudeep's 'Mudinja Ivana Pudi'.There are even rumours that it was Kamal Haasan himself who pitched in a one-liner story to Ravikumar about five women who take revenge on their partners for being unfaithful.

But for the time being, this sequel seems like a remote possibility since the Ulaganayagan is still recovering from his fracture. What's more, the shooting for his film 'Sabash Naidu' has come to a standstill and 'Vishwaroopam 2' is also on hold.
