Director Thiru's Vishal-starrer 'Samar' is faced with yet another roadblock to its release. The film which was initially expected to hit the screens today, was postponed and is not expected to release for Pongal. But the latest is that the theatre owners have asked the producer to clear the controversy surrounding its payment dues. Samar is now facing a case in the court filed by equipment dealers, Anand Cine Services for payment of Rs.1.20cr.

Samar music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the soundtracks are highly entertaining the music lovers. While Vishal plays a forest trekker in the action adventure, Sunaina is also playing one of the lead roles in
Samar under Jaya Balaji Real Media banner.
Interestingly it was expected that Vishal, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Anjali starrer
Madha Gaja Raja which was scheduled to release for Pongal would be postponed to let '
Samar' release for Pongal.
