Actor Jaffer Sadiq, who shot to fame with the Tamil anthology, 'Paava Kadhaigal', and Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' had played an important role in Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The actor-choreographer appeared in a major supporting role traveling alongside Rajinikanth throughout the course of the story. Interestingly, the young actor received a special gift from the Superstar himself on the sets on 'Jailer.
The young actor took to his social networking page to reveal that he got a special gift Rajinikanth. The Superstar has apprently given him the sunglasses he wore in 'Jailer' to Jaffer Sadiq upon his request on July 4.
Sharing pictures of the sunglasses, an elated Jaffer Sadiq wrote, "Na ketean , avar kuduthutar 04-07-2023 ❤️ Thank you my #superstar @rajinikanth ⭐️ picture says everything,en ellamey :) #jailer #Rajinikanth"
Interestingly, Jaffer had actually backed out of Bejoy Nambiar’s Tamil-Hindi bilingual to work with Rajinikanth in 'Jailer'.
Produced by Sun Pictures, the film is an action thriller with a huge star cast with Rajinikanth playing jailer Muthuvel Pandian in the film. Priyanka Mohan, Tamannaah, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan and others including popular Malayalam star Mohanlal are playing an important role in the film.
