​Mayilsamy's sons clear the rumours about their father's death

Popular comic actor Mayilsamy (57) passed away in the early hours of February 19th due to a heart attack, and his sudden death caused grief among the film industry and fans. Many people like cinema stars and political personalities attended Mayilsamy's funeral to pay their last respect, and a large number of people gathered for the actor's funeral procession. Mayilsamy's sons Anbu and Yuvan addressed the Press and Media yesterday (February 23), and thanked everyone who supported them during their tough times. He also expressed what his late father always said. According to the late comedian, earning money is never a big deal, the number of people that gather at the funeral is more important.

Busy last day

On February 18, Mayilsamy returned home in the evening after finishing the dubbing work for his upcoming film. Then the actor went to Meghnad Eswarar temple in Kelambakkam with his family to attend the Maha Shivratri festival. Mayilsamy then called Drums Sivamani to have a special musical session for the occasion of Maha Shivratri in Meghnad Eswarar temple in Kelambakkam and the musical session happened at around 11 PM (Feb 18).

Last minutes

Mayilsamy then completed the Shivratri festival and returned home around 2:45 AM (Feb 18) and had some food. But after ten minutes he felt uncomfortable and went to his bed after having some hot water. Later he felt hard to breathe and he was taken to a nearby hospital by his family members. But the doctor declared him dead. Even though Mayilsamy's son Anbu took the former to another private hospital in Porur, Chennai, the doctors declared the same again.

A warning to those who spread rumors

Mayilsamy's sons Anbu and Yuvan then pledged to continue the welfare activities followed by their father. Even though their father Mayilsamy drank, he didn't drink outside and no one can witness him drinking in public places, and their father stopped drinking long back. But some YouTube channels are posting false information, and Mayilsamy's sons have warned them if they continue to spread false reports.
