The grand trailer launch event saw numerous leading Tamil cinema stars in attendance, with many expressing their admiration for Mari Selvaraj's work through video messages. Mani Ratnam, who was unable to attend the event due to the ongoing shoot of 'Thug Life' with Kamal Haasan, sent a special pre-recorded video message. In his message, Ratnam hailed Mari Selvaraj as a prominent voice in Tamil cinema, commending his mature and detailed filmmaking. Ratnam expressed his admiration for Selvaraj's ability to capture the essence of each role in 'Vaazhai,' noting that he felt a sense of envy over the junior director's impressive style. Ratnam's acknowledgment of Selvaraj's talent highlights the supportive and respectful relationships among Kollywood filmmakers. Silambarasan and Sivakarthikeyan have also wished Mari Selvaraj through video messages, while Vetri Maaran, Mysskin, Nelson Dilipkumar, GV Prakash Kumar, Kavin, Nithilan Swaminathan, Madonne Ashwin, Arun Matheswaran, Dhruv Vikram, Harish Kalyan, and Anupama Parameswaran made their presence for the 'Vaazhai' trailer launch to hail this Friday release.

'Vaazhai' stars Ponvel, Raghul, Nikhila Vimal, Kalaiyarasan, J Sathish Kumar, Dhivya Duraisamy, and Janaki in significant roles. The film features music by Santhosh Narayanan and is highly anticipated for its unique storytelling and direction.
