Madhavan

Madhavan, who was a television presenter, was spotted by expert director Mani Ratnam, who roped in to play the lead in romantic drama 'Alaipayuthey'. Madhavan then went on to essay the lead in several romantic dramas in Tamil films and won hearts with his charming performances. Later, Madhavan started receiving offers from Bollywood and impressed the fans with his entertaining roles in films like 'Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein', 'Rang De Basanti', 'Tanu Weds Manu', and others.

Sridevi

Sridevi started her career as a child actor in Tamil films and played several devotional roles TOO. She then started essaying lead roles and earned fans with her lovely acts. Sridevi went on to mark her debut in Hindi cinema with 'Solva Sawan' and moved on deliver hits like 'Chandini', 'Sadama', 'Mom'. Not only in Tamil and Bollywood films but Sridevi also earned massive praise for her performance in Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam movies.

Siddharth

Siddharth made her debut in the multi starrer drama 'Boys', which was directed by Shankar. Siddharth then stepped into Telugu cinema and succeeded with the romantic drama 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana'. Back-to-back success in the South, took Siddharth to Bollywood, and the stylish actor made an impressive debut in Hindi with 'Rang De Basanti', which was directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her acting debut with Mani Ratnam's 'Iruvar', wherein she played a dual role of Pushpavalli and Kanchana. The pretty actress soon entered Bollywood and debuted in Hindi in her second film. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's continuous success in Hindi cinema, with hits like 'Jodhaa Akbar', 'Devdas', 'Dhoom 2', and others, made her a popular national icon.

Interestingly, she has done maximum Bollywood movies and only four films in Tamil.

Dhanush

Dhanush is one of the leading actors in Tamil cinema and the earned massive popularity for song 'Why This Kolaveri Di'. He Dhanush made his debut in Hindi films with 'Raanjhanaa' in 2013, and bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Dhanush is currently busy with Tamil and Hindi films. He has been extensively shooting for Aanand L Rai's next directorial 'Atrangi Re', co-starring Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan.
