Anirudh to DD, Kollywood wishes Thala Dhoni on his birthday birthday

MS Dhoni is one of the most celebrated cricketers in India and there are no two ways about it. Apart from him being a successful cricketer as Team India’s former captain, Dhoni is like Chennai’s adopted son ever since his association with Chennai Super Kings started from the first season of Indian Premier League. And he’s lovingly called Thala by his fans in Chennai.His fans include several Kollywood celebrities as well. So, on Dhoni’s birthday today, several Kollywood celebs took to their social media pages to wish the star cricketer happy birthday and share their good memories of the cricketer.
Kollywood composer Anirudh couldn’t think of anything less than a Thalaivar song to bring on that mass feeling to wish the cricketer. Anirudh used ‘Maranam Maassu Maranam’ song from Rajinikanth’s ‘Petta’ for a short video, wishing Thala Dhoni happy birthday. As a script to his post on Instagram, Anirudh wrote, “Happy birthday dearest #7 🥳🥳🥳You are an emotion #HappyBirthdayDhoni (sic).”

Comedian Sathish posted a photo of himself wearing a T-shirt with Dhoni’s picture on it. With his unassuming sense of humour, he wrote,”Happy birthday to our one of the best captain.... My All timefavourite @mahi7781 Have a great year (Vera photo illa boss) #HappyBirthdayMSDhoni (sic).”

Actress and anchor Dhivyadharshini, too, posted a short video and wrote, “LOOK AT THAT SMILE ️ Dhoni is not a name for us in here, it’s an EMOTION for us ... Happy birthday @mahi7781 ji MAY GOD BLESS YOU WITH EVRYTHING THALAAAAAAA #7 #chennaisuperkings (sic).
