Featuring Sundeep Kishan, Sri, Regina Cassandra, and Charles, the film is a hyperlink thriller that unfolds over one night in Chennai. Kaithi (2019)

This high-octane action thriller stars Karthi in the lead, supported by Narain, George Maryan, and Harish Uthaman. It also serves as the first chapter of the LCU, laying the groundwork for future interconnected stories while giving multiple characters significant arcs.

Master (2021)

One of Tamil cinema’s biggest box office hits during the pandemic era, Master brought together superstar Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in a face-off that thrilled fans. With Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj in key roles, the film balanced mass appeal with nuanced character development. It marked Lokesh’s successful foray into commercial big-budget filmmaking.

5/6

Vikram (2022)

Vikram was a game-changer—not just a film, but an event. With Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil leading the charge, and Suriya making a fiery cameo as Rolex, Lokesh expanded the LCU into a full-blown cinematic franchise. Each character, from Narain’s Inspector Bejoy, Kalidas Jayaram and Agent Tina, had their moment, creating an ensemble-packed experience.

Leo (2023)

Reuniting with Vijay, Lokesh delivered Leo, a high-stakes action film with emotional depth. Featuring an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Arjun, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mysskin, the film deepened the LCU mythology. Leo was both a commercial juggernaut and a narrative bridge between Lokesh’s earlier works.
