'Ko' -2011
The revolutionary political thriller 'Ko', directed by KV Anand, features Jiiva, Karthika Nair, Ajmal, and Pia Bajpai in lead roles. The film was released ahead of the 2011 Tamil Nadu elections, and the film captivated many by explaining the methods in politics. 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi' - 2012
After introducing himself as a producer, Udhayanidhi Stalin made his debut as a hero with 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi', which was directed by M Rajesh. Udhyanidhi played the role of a carefree youngster, who falls in love with a cute girl Hansika. Santhanam played the lead comedian, while Udhayanidhi's collaboration with him worked well. The romantic comedy-drama ran for 175 days in theatres and grossed great numbers at the box office.
