Dhanush's 'Thiruchitrambalam' to be pushed; expected to release on the actor's birthday

Dhanush has been the busy bee of Indian cinema as he operates films across languages. Dhanush will be next seen in 'Thiruchitrambalam', and the makers are aiming for a theatrical release. Udhayanidhi Stalin, who will be distributing Dhanush's 'Thiruchitrambalam' in Tamil Nadu, has earlier said that the film is planned to be released in theaters on July 1, and it revealed the film's release date. Udhayanidhi has also stated that he asked the makers to find another date as another big film is planned to release on the same date.

So, the makers of 'Thiruchitrambalam' have now altered their release plan, and they are aiming to release the film on Dhanush's birthday, which falls on July 28. The official announcement is expected to be made soon, and it's going to be a pakka treat for fans from Dhanush on his birthday as the couple of the actor's previous films were released directly on OTT.

Directed by Mithran Jawahar, 'Thiruchitrambalam' marks Dhanush's fourth film with the director, and it's going to be a family entertainer from the duo. Dhanush will be seen alongside three female leads Nithya Menen, Raashi Khanna, and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the film. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring music for the film, and it marks his reunion with Dhanush after seven years.
