Dhanush and filmmaker
Vetrimaaran collaborated for 'Asuran' and their film received excellent reviews from the audience. And the film has earned Dhanush a fan from Bollywood as well. Shamas N Siddiqui, director of
Nawazuddin Siddiqui and
Tamannaah
starrer 'Bole Chudiyan', saw the film and was all praise for Dhanush. The filmmaker was impressed with Dhanush’s acting in 'Asuran' and also expressed his wish to work with the actor on a good script in the future.
Apart from Dhanush, ‘Asuran’ also starred Manju Warrier, Ken Karunas, Teejay Arunachalam, Pasupathi, and
Aadukalam Naren in lead roles. GV Prakash had composed the music for the film, while was cinematography was handled by Velraj. 'Asuran', which was produced by Kalaipuli Thanu under the banner of V Creations, earned more than Rs 100 crore at the box office and still running successfully in cinemas.
