Atlee faces plagiarism issue for 'Jawaan' after a complaint was filed against the director at the Tamil Film Producers Council

Atlee reached a higher stage quickly, and the director's three blockbusters with Vijay laid the main reason for his triumph. Atlee is next directing the Hindi film titled 'Jawaan' starring Shah Rukh Khan and he is set to make his Bollywood entry with the film. Now, Atlee faces a plagiarism problem for 'Jawaan' after a complaint was filed against the director at the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC). A producer named Manikam Narayanan has filed a complaint against Atlee at the TFPC claiming that the 'Jawaan' and 'Perarasu' stories are the same. But the reason for the complaint is unknown, and this is not the first time that Atlee is facing plagiarism issues for his movies.

TFPC board members are to investigate the complaint filed by Manikam Narayanan post-November 7 and let's hope Atlee gets cleared from the issue.

Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly playing a dual role in 'Jawaan' and there have not been any reports about the film's story till now. Whereas, the 2006 Tamil film 'Perarasu' featuring Vijayakanth in a dual role is about twin brothers, who got separated during their childhood and face each other in a critical situation. But Shah Rukh Khan is said to be playing an army man in one of his dual roles in 'Jawaan' and this gives a different idea about the film. However, let's wait for a few more days to know about the plagiarism issue for 'Jawaan'.

'Jawaan' shooting has been progressing steadily, and the team recently completed a major schedule in Chennai a few weeks back. Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, and Yogi Babu among others play important roles, while Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music.
