Arunraja Kamaraj later started acting in supporting roles in films, and performed well in movies like 'Raja Rani', 'Maan Karate' and 'Maragatha Naanayam'. Then Arunraja Kamaraj's long term dream of directing a film got fulfilled with the help of his friend and actor Sivakarthikeyan, and he directed 'Kanaa' under SK Productions. Now, as per the latest reports, Arunraja Kamaraj will be directing Udhayanidhi Stalin in his next film.

After the success of 'Kaana', Arunraja Kamaraj is considered as one of the promising directors, and fans have been expecting to hear about his next film. Earlier, there have been reports that Arunraja Kamaraj will join with Karthi in his next, but it looks impossible now since Karthi is busy with Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan' and a film with PS Mithran. So, Arunraja Kamaraj has reportedly decided to join hands with Udhayanidhi Stalin for his next film. The official announcement about the film is expected to be made once the Coronavirus pandemic is under control.

Meanwhile, Udhayanidhi Stalin has engaged himself in multiple projects like 'Kannai Nambathey' with directors Mu. Maran, and 'Angel' with K. S. Adhiyaman.
