The speedy cop drama was filled with high octane action and gripping scenes and had Suriya in the lead role, and was remade in several languages. After the blockbuster 'Singam', the expectations were high for the sequel. Suriya and director Hari stunned the fans with an entertaining drama equal to the previous version. Suriya turning cop

Durai Singam (Suriya) shocked the fans, who wished to see him as a cop, by being an NCC master in a school. But Durai Singam's action had a reason, and he was monitoring the actions of local gangsters and crime happening in Tuticorin. Suriya then turns cop at the needed time, and the film picks up to the top gear.

Danny escaping from the police station

Durai Singam(Suriya) unknowingly arrests an international criminal and locks him in a cell. But the powerful villain uses his ability to escape from the police station by destroying it with his supporters. Danny's entry made the film more engaging, and it turned into Suriya's fight against an international cop.

Suriya challenging the opposition

Durai Singam(Suriya) gets pumped up after his police station was destroyed by the opposition. Suriya then confronts the antagonist Bhai (Mukesh Rishi) and reveals the information he gathered against him to shock him. Suriya then sends him an open challenge and operates to arrest Danny again.

Rain fight scene

Durai Singam is all set to marry his love Kavya, but he and his family gets attacked by a group of rowdies a day before the wedding. Suriya then safeguards his family members and takes upon the rowdies. Instead of handling them as a cop, he fights with them like a villager and uses a billhook for his battle.

Arresting Danny in South Africa

Durai Singam (Suriya) gets permission from the government and leaves for South Africa to arrest Danny. Suriya makes a perfect plan to attack Danny in South Africa. Suriya then attacks Danny and brings him back to Tuticorin to lock him inside the same cell he escaped from to complete the challenge.
