Krithi Shetty started his cinema journey with Telugu cinema, and the young actress is making her Tamil debut with 'Vanangaan' opposite Suriya. Krithi Shetty has made a lovely appearance at the 67th Parle Filmfare Awards South, and the 'Vanangaan' actress has opened up on working with Suriya and Bala while speaking to ETimes exclusively on the red carpet of the event. "I feel happy to work with Suriya and Bala, and the film is a completely new experience. I can't find differences between directors Bala and Venkat Prabhu (With whom she signed a new Telugu film), and both are so comfortable", says Krithi Shetty on her upcoming films in Tamil and Telugu. Krithi Shetty won the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Actress Telugu for her role in the film 'Uppena'.

Aparna Balamurali, who got nominated for 'Soorarai Pottru' for Best Actress, thanked director Sudha Kongara and Suriya as she stepped in for the grand award ceremony. But the actress managed to grab the Best Actress Critics for 'Soorarai Pottru'.

After the grand 66th Filmfare Awards South 2019 in Chennai, the most chosen award didn't happen in the last two years due to the pandemic outbreak. However the fans' wait is over, as the Filmfare Awards South is back after three years, and the 67th Parle Filmfare Awards South 2022 has happened today in Bangalore.
