10 Years of 'Kaavalan': Five unmissable scenes from Vijay's romantic drama
Vijay had joined hands with Siddique for 'Kaavalan', the Tamil remake of the director's own Malayalam film 'Bodyguard'. The romantic comedy-drama was released during Pongal in 2011, and it received good reviews from the audience. The film completes ten years today, and Vijay fans have been celebrating the film on social media while they enjoy 'Master' on big screens on the other side. Interval scene
Meera (Asin) tries to cheat Bhoomi (Vijay) from an unknown number to escape from his guards. But she loses her coolness and falls in love with Bhoomi. Further, Meera proposes to Bhoomi over the phone without revealing her identity and feels worried for him. While at the same time Vijay is on cloud nine and flying high with happiness. These two different emotions of the lead stars are carried in a single frame at the interval scene.

Vadivelu and Vijay returning to home
Vijay has a great rapport with Vadivelu, and their comedy scenes are well enjoyed by the fans. In 'Kaavalan' also both the actors impressed the audiences with their parodies. The scene in which Ammavasai (Vadivelu) returns home with Bhoomi (Vijay) after being beaten by a group of women in a hostel is just unforgettable. Vijay and Vadivelu delivered their best in this scene and their comic timings and dialogue delivery are appreciated.

Love proposal scene
Bhoomi (Vijay) rehearses with Meera (Asin) before proposing his love. But Asin loses her control and turns more emotional in his romantic speech. Vijay presented the scene well, and it turned out of one of the favorite love proposal scenes in Tamil cinema.

Vijay misjudging Asin's friend
Bhoomi (Vijay) misjudges Madhu (Mithra Kurian) as his lover when she comes to reveal the truth about Meera to him. Mithra fades into his care and hides the truth from him. She then elopes away with Vijay and marries him. But she couldn't live happily with him for long years and lost her life because of illness.

Disclosure at climax
The whole story of the film is narrated when Vijay's son Siddharth reads the diary returned by her mother (Mithra Kurian). Siddharth tries to destroy the diary after fulfilling his mother's wish. But Vijay finds him and reads the diary to know the whole story behind his love and marriage life. The romantic end with Asin sliding on Vijay's shoulder is something that anyone can never forget.
