‘Puaada’
After doing great business on the big screen, the Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa starrer ‘Puaada’ got an online release this week. The movie is a desi romantic comedy directed by Rupinder Chahal. The makers of the movie are really elated that the movie has been now released in the digital space. According to them, those who have not been able to watch the film on the big screen can now have access to the dose of entertainment from the comfort of their homes.

‘Kokka’
Neeru Bajwa and Gurnam Bhullar starrer ‘Kokka’ also made headlines this week. The makers of the movie announced the release date of the film, and it will be making it to the big screens in 2022, on May 20. This new update came with the first look of the film. Sharing the same, Neeru Bajwa wrote - “Bebe Sach Kehndi aa, Pyaar di koi umar ni hundi... �� May 20,2022” (mother used to say it right, there is no age for love)”

‘Widow Colony’
Based on the riots of 1984, the movie ‘Widow Colony’ also caught the attention of the netizens this week. The Smeep Kang directorial got a release date this week, and it will be hitting the theatres on June 3, 2022.
The movie aims at shedding light on the survivors of 1984, the people who were left behind after the horrific incident.

‘Main Te Bapu’
Parmish Verma’s ‘Main Te Bapu’ also hogged the limelight this week. The cameras stopped rolling on the sets of this movie, and the completion was celebrated with smiles and cake cutting. Reportedly, the release date of the film will also be announced soon.
Coming to the cast of the film, it will be featuring Parmish Verma with his real-life father Dr. Satish Verma, and actress Sanjeeda Shaikh.

‘Shikra’
Last but not least, ‘Shikra’ is another movie that made headlines this week. Starring Diljit Dosanjh, the movie has been written and will be directed by Amberdeep Singh. This is Diljit Dosanjh and Amberdeep Singh’s second film together after ‘Jodi’. Though ‘Jodi’ has also not made it to the theaters so far, it was the first film that the two signed together. ‘Shikra’ is slated to release in 2022.
