Further, it has been directed by Baljit Singh Deo, who helmed Gippy’s ‘Manje Bistre’ and ‘Manje Bistre 2’.

‘Puaada’

Amid the hustle of Punjabi movies that are making it to the big screen this year, Pollywood project ‘Puaada’, which is scheduled to release in 2020 caught the attention. Featuring the much loved on-screen couple Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa, the movie is slated to hit the silver screen on 12 June 2020. Debutant director Rupinder Chahal will be the captain of the ship, while Atul Bhalla, Amit Bhalla, Anurag Singh, Aman Gill and Pawan Gill are bankrolling the movie. This is the fourth time that Ammy and Sonam are coming up as the lead pair opposite one another and second time for the producers to join hands.

Further, within a short span, after the teaser release, the makers also presented the first song ‘Multan’ from the movie. ‘Nikka Zaildar 3’

The Ammy Virk starrer ‘Nikka Zaildar 3’ got a new release date this week. Earlier it was scheduled to release on June 21, but the same will now be making it to the box office on September 13. Though the reason behind postponing the date hasn’t been unveiled, if the movie would have been released as per the earlier schedule, it would have clashed with Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Shadaa’.

10/10

‘Lukan Michi’

Another movie whose release date got pushed forward this week is ‘Lukan Michi’. The Preet Harpal and Mandy Takhar starrer was earlier slated to hit the big screen on May 3rd, but now it will be releasing a week later on May 10th. Just like the aforementioned ‘Nikka Zaildar 3’, the reason behind pushing forward the date of the movie hasn’t been disclosed. And, another similarity here is, that if ‘Lukan Michi’ would have released on May 3rd, it would have been in the clash of screens with Parmish Verma’s ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’ and Rajvir Jawanda’s ‘Jind Jaan’.
