12 years ago in 2010, Gippy Grewal made his acting debut with the movie ‘Mel Karade Rabba’. Now generally every aspiring actor wishes to make his debut as a protagonist, but Gippy Grewal did the character of an antagonist in his first film. The movie was a big hit and Gippy’s role was also highly appreciated. After ‘Mel Karade Rabba’, Gippy Grewal gave one after another hit as the main lead.

‘Angreji Beat’ is one of Gippy Grewal’s most popular Punjabi songs. The song was such a big hit that it even got featured in Bollywood, in ‘Cocktail’. However, did you know that ‘Angreji Beat’ was never officially dubbed in a studio? In one of his interviews, Gippy Grewal mentioned that he sang ‘Angreji Beat’ just casually in front of Honey Singh, and then he asked Yo Yo to arrange the music for the same. Thereafter, though they did decide to dub the song formally in India, the master of the track was sent ahead by Honey Singh before the dubbing could have been done.

We know that Gippy Grewal has given vocals to a number of songs, but did you know he lent his voice to the first-ever Punjabi dubbed Hollywood movie? Yes, he did dub for the Punjabi version of an English film. The title of the movie is ‘A Good Day To Die Hard’, which was released in 2013. The movie featured Bruce Willis in the lead.
