​Made her debut in a Hindi music video

Mandy Takhar is one of the artists who doesn’t like to put all her eggs in one basket. On one hand, where her performance in Punjabi movies is loved by all, on the other hand, she has also made sure to mark her presence in the Tamil entertainment world. And that is not all, this year while everyone was busy cribbing how 2020 has ruined all their plans, Mandy made her Hindi music video debut. She featured opposite Jubin Nautiyal, a renowned Hindi singer in the track ‘Dil Chahte Ho’. In 2020 while many people said that their dreams took a back seat, Mandy went ahead to fulfill hers, and no doubt she did a great job in the same.

​Gave stellar performance in ‘Tod Da E Dil’

A lot of people went off the camera and made 2020 an excuse to avoid work. However, Mandy Takhar certainly isn’t one of them. Before she made her Hindi music video debut, she was seen performing opposite Ammy Virk in the song ‘Tod Da E Dil’. Shoot amid pandemic, it was a vertical video made via phone. There’s no denial that Maninder Buttar’s lyrics and Ammy Virk’s vocals tugged at the heartstrings, but at the same time, it was Mandy’s flawless performance that left everyone in awe.

Didn't surrender to cyber bullies​

Just when Mandy Takhar’s first Hindi music video came out, another news came down crashing on her. A fake video of the actress with inappropriate content was going viral on the internet. The actress initially was shattered by the same, but soon enough she pulled herself together and fought against the bullies. She made it clear on social media that those who made the video are not the only culprits, the ones who are sharing it are equally involved in the heinous crime. She also filed a police complaint and held her head high.

​Donned the producer’s hat

As aforementioned, Mandy Takhar is one of the artists who doesn’t believe to put all eggs in one basket. Thus, this year she also dipped her toes in the field of production. The actress turned producer with the movie ‘Kikli’, which stars her and her two BFFS - Wamiqa Gabbi and Jobanpreet Singh in the lead. The film’s shoot is currently on the floor and it will be hitting the big screens in 2021.
