Music review: Ye Re Ye Re Paisa 2

The first part of this franchise had energetic songs like Khandala Ghat which went on to become chartbusters in 2018. The songs of Ye Re Ye Re Paisa 2 (YRYRP 2) are even better compared to the first part.
With three songs, all bringing in a quirk factor, YRYRP 2 composers Troy-Arif strike a chord with listeners. Mika Singh sings the title track along with Jyotsna Navandar.The song is like a typical high energy Mika number that will get your feet tapping.
The second track, Un Dos Tres, sung by Shalmali Kholgade, is another peppy number that mixes Marathi and Spanish lyrics. The music has a compete Spanish tap dance feel and Shalmali, who incidentally sang another Marathi-Spanish number Querida Querido in Girlfriend, is in top form here.
But the best track on the list is undoubtedly the recreated version of the popular Marathi song Ashwini Ye Na. The song gets a club mix makeover and is crooned by Avadhoot Gupte and Mugdha Karhade. While adding new beats, the Troy-Arif retain the essence of the original, making this one cement its place on top of music charts.
