Rishi Deshpande's upcoming Marathi film 'Samaira' starring Ketaki Narayan has already made the rounds of a few international film festivals and he's got some amazing reviews.
Now, the film is ready to make its way to the theatres on August 26, 2022. But before we can go ahead and book tickets for the film, the makers have dropped the much-awaited trailer from the film.
The trailer shows how 'Samaira' (played by Ketki), who is travelling Pandharpur from Goa in the search of her parents. It unravels her and how the secret of her life which has been hidden for some time, gradually comes to light.
Looking at the trailer, it seems that this film will make the importance of spirituality to the new generation of today. The slowly unfolding relationship between 'Samaira' and her companion will surely be liked by the audience.
Speaking about the film, director Rishi Deshpande said, "Everyone is on a journey to live life. Similarly, an extraordinary journey is going to be for 'Samaira'"
"The audience will soon get to know if her journey will achieve her goal. Currently, many new topics are being tackled in Marathi cinema. This story is also very different. This journey of 'Samaira' will surely give positivity to the audience" Deshpande added.
It also stars Ankur Rathee, Satish Pulekar, Rohit Kokate, Jui Pawar, Manasi Joshi, and Madhav Abhyankar in pivotal roles. The film is slated to release on August 26, 2022.
