in Mumbai has left everyone fuming. And artists are no exception. Marathi actor and director Prasad Oak is one such artist who recently expressed his views in the daily Maharashtra Times.

In the article, the

Kaccha Limbu

director says that the value of life seems to have diminished in Mumbai. People seem to be dying in stampedes, building collapses, fires bridge collapses etc. quite frequently. “Even Mumbaikars are fed up of this so-called Mumbai’s spirit. Each day is a struggle making way through the clogged roads,” he states in the article.

As a reference to maintain infrastructure, he gives the example of

Japan

where an important road was repaired within three hours when it developed a crack due to an earthquake. He feels that there is an urgent need to pay attention to the issues plaguing the financial capital of the country.
