'Makeup': Five reasons why you shouldn’t miss the Rinku Rajguru starrer

'Sairat' fame Rinku Rajguru's first outing of 2020 - 'Makeup' directed by Ganesh Pandit has made it to the theatres. Recently released trailer and a teaser from the film revealed that the film will see her in two different avatars. While she will appear sanskaari [well-behaved] at home, her real, outgoing and bold self will be seen with her friends.

Right from its quirky concept to the performances of the actors and Neha Kakkar's first Marathi song, we give you a rundown of reasons as to why you shouldn’t miss watching the film.

Story

'Makeup' is one of the much-awaited light-hearted saga of 2020. However, it’s not just the simple love story that forms the USP of the film; rather, it is the concept and story. 'Makeup' is the story of a girl (played by Rinku Rajguru. Poorvi wanting to live life an independent life against various odds. At the same time, it also looks at the widening of the generation gap between kids, especially girls, and their traditional parents.

Rinku Rajguru's dual avatar

Director Ganesh Pandit's Makeup (2020) will see Sairat (2016) star Rinku Rajguru in two avatars. She is not playing a double role in the film though. The new poster from the movie throws more light on her character.

Her character Poorvi dons two different identities in the film. Her family is too traditional and orthodox. Hence, she behaves very sanskaari [well-behaved] at home. So, we see that in her language, behavior, mannerisms and last, but not the least, clothes.

Rinku and Chinmay 's fresh chemistry

With 'Makeup' the audience for the first time will see Rinku Rajguru and Chinmay Udgirkar sharing the screen space. And with this new pairing, the audience can expect fresh chemistry, which indeed is one of the USPs of the movie. Although, the 'Sairat' fame actress Rinku is well known for her stupendous on-screen performance. It will be interesting this fresh pair together on the big screen.

Sanket More to play a key role

Marathi cinema's chocolate boy, Sanket More who started his carrier as a child artist in the Marathi industry will be completing his 20-years in the industry this year. Surprisingly, Sanket's character in 'Makeup' was not disclosed by the makers of the film. While exclusively speaking to Etimes, Sanket said " I am playing a very important role in the film, so makers planned that they will not disclose till the film releases. So, I want people to watch this film in the theater, so they can enjoy each and every scene of it"

Neha Kakkar makes her Marathi singing debut with 'Karaar Premache'

Bollywood's well-known playback singer, Neha Kakkar makes her Marathi debut by singing the song 'Karaar Premache'. The original composition 'Mile Ho Tum Humko' is made by Tony Kakkar who is Neha’s brother, holds a special place for her. Singing the song in Marathi has been quite a journey for her and she also released a video sharing the same.
