The audio launch of G Marthandan's Prithviraj-starrer was kept as a low-key affair so that the funds could be used to aid those affected in Chennai. Actor Maniyanpillai Raju, who led the effort, said, "Normally we would have invited 300 people and hosted the event in a huge hall. But we cut the number to 25, including only those who were closely associated with the project. We handed over Rs 1 lakh for the relief."
