#Whatif ‘The Godfather’ was made in Mollywood

Welcome my travel partners. Today we will be entering the realm of the classic Hollywood gangster film ‘The Godfather’ and check out the possibilities of the film being remade in Mollywood. Over to Simon.

#Simon Says, “Finally our master has made us an offer which we can’t refuse as he has brought us the ticket to the world of ‘The Godfather’. Tighten your seat belts as ETimes presents the 25th episode of #Whatif ‘The Godfather’ was made in Mollywood.”

Possibility 1: Don Vito Corleone as Mammootty

#Simon Says, “Flawless acting skills, perfect physique, legendary Mollywood actor Mammootty has everything necessary to play the gangster leader Don Vito Corleone in the Mollywood remake of ‘The Godfather’. Recently in ‘Bheeshma Parvam’, Mammootty played a similar character Micheal and got much adulation from the audience too.”

Possibility 2: Michael Corleone as Dulquer Salmaan

#Simon Says, “Fans always wanted Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan to come together for a film. Imagine Dulquer Salmaan playing the character Michael Corleone who is the son of Don Vito Corleone? Goosebumps isn’t it? It's also beyond doubt that the character would help Dulquer Salmaan explore his acting skills.”

Possibility 3: Apollonia Vitelli Corleone as Kalyani Priyadarshan

#Simon Says, “Apollonia Vitelli Corleone is the first wife of Michael Corleone who unfortunately gets killed in a car blast. The character has a lot of emotional elements and will perfectly suit the actress Kalyani Priyadarshan in the Mollywood remake of ‘The Godfather’

Possibility 4: Directed by Rajeev Ravi

#Simon Says, “Most of you will be suggesting the director Amal Neerad for the Mollywood remake of ‘The Godfather’, as he completely nailed the execution of ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ which was also inspired by the Hollywood film. What makes the ‘Kammatipaadam’ director Rajeev Ravi suitable for directing the remake is because of his ability to handle strong characters without losing their emotional core. Rajeev Ravi could do justice to the Mollywood remake of such a classic film as ‘The Godfather”

#Simon Says, “I feel honored today as we successfully completed our journey to one of the best gangster movies that indeed paved a way for the same genre films that came after. I really hope you loved today’s episode. Let's meet next week at the same time with yet another interesting episode of #Whatif.”
