Sources have revealed that the Malayalam film 'Kannur Squad' will be temporarily removed from some screens on October 19 to allow 'Leo' to occupy a significant number of theaters. However, 'Kannur Squad' is expected to return to these screens on October 20.



This decision has sparked mixed reactions among Kerala audiences. Some have expressed disappointment, criticizing the move for affecting the growth of Malayalam cinema. On the other hand, a section of netizens is supporting the grand release of 'Leo,' given the heightened anticipation surrounding Vijay's comeback after a few box office setbacks.

'Leo' (also marketed as 'Leo: Bloody Sweet') is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
