With phenomenal actors like Nimisha Sajan and Rajisha Vijayan playing the leads, Vidhu Vincent directed 'Stand Up' trailer looks promising. It starts with an introduction of popular standup comedian Keerthy Maria Thomas, with a parallel storyline of Rajisha Vijayan's character. The trailer travels through Rajisha's love story, her over-possessive boyfriend and a series of crime related events and ultimately the rise of the victim. As the title reads, the movie is about a stand-up comedian and also about standing up for oneself and being confident. The trailer ends with Sethu Lakshmi advising Rajisha to wait for the moment and take revenge with courage.

This is the second directorial of journalist turned filmmaker Vidhu Vincent. 'Stand Up' is bankrolled by Anto Joseph under the banner of RD Illuminations Release and Anto Joseph Film Company. Vidhu's debut movie, ‘Manhole’ received a huge applause. Scripted by Umesh Omanakuttan, Tobin Thomas has cranked the lens. Varkey is composing the music and Christy Sebastian is the editor for the movie. Renganaath Ravee is managing the sound design.
