Aashiq Abu's 'Rifle Club' trailer arrived on Wednesday, offering glimpses into what seems like a quirky, action-filled spectacle. Scheduled for December 19 worldwide, the film boasts an ensemble cast and a gripping narrative written by Syam Pushkaran, Dileesh Karunakaran, and Suhas.
The makers shared the trailer on Instagram with a note that read, “Fireworks just hit during the holidays, no cap.”
The 3-minute, 37-second trailer sets the tone with a colonial-style building set amidst lush greenery. The story's unique setting is introduced, and the scene unfolds with Dileesh Pothan's character, seen smoking and drinking, passionately explaining the adrenaline of hunting to Vineeth Kumar's character.
The storyline seems to be built with conflicts and camaraderie weaved around gun-centric confrontations. As it gets intense, the movie seems to be promising plenty of shootouts and scuffles in store for this entertainer.
As it builds up to the interesting mix of action and drama, the teaser is seen being elevated by Rex Vijayan's scintillating background score.
Apart from direction, Aashiq Abu has also handled cinematography to make every frame of the film complement a gripping narrative. The production design is taken care of by Ajayan Chalissery and the editing by V Saajan. With the music being composed by Rex Vijayan, 'Rifle Club' is all set to become a complete entertainer.
The trailer boasts a long list of impressive actors including Darshana Rajendran, Surabhi Lakshmi, Unnimaya Prasad, Vijayaraghavan, and Vani Viswanath. The movie further gains interest with antagonists played by Vishnu Agasthya, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, and rapper Hanumankind.
Other actors that feature in the movie are Vincy Aloshious, Ramu, Navani Devanand, Parimal Shais, Suresh Krishna, Ramzan Muhammed, Senna Hegde, Natesh Hegde, rapper Baby Jean, Ponnamma Babu, Sajeev Kumar, Niyaz Musaliyar, and Kiran Peethambaran.
