Chances of '
Randamoozham
' to be made into a movie look bleak as the author and scriptwriter of the novel by the same name MT Vasudevan
Nair
is adamant on the stance that he wants his script back from director Shrikumar Menon.
The copyrights of the novel and script written by MT which tells the story of Mahabharatha from the perspective of Bhimasenan was acquired by director Shrikumar Menon to make the movie 'Randamoozham' with
Mohanlal in the lead. However, as the project got delayed from the agreed date, MT has legally moved to halt the project and has sent a legal notice demanding his script work to be returned. Following the writer's decision to withdraw from the contract, Shrikumar Menon has written an apology note on his Facebook page explaining the reasons for the project's delay and assured that he will solve the confusion with MT, and hopes to materialize the project.
The director reportedly met MT at the writer's residence in Kozhikodu to solve the issue, but reports suggest that MT is adamant on his decision and wants the project froze.
